Upcoming School Events:

January 4, 2009 – Chinese New Year Organizing Committee meeting.

Chinese New Year Organizing Committee: All parents who signed up for parent duty on Chinese New Year and anyone interested in helping organize, please come to an organizing meeting on January 4 at 2:40 in the office. We will need people to help backstage, with sound, with decorations, etc.

 

Culture Class Announcement:

Drawing Contest:  Pick up your official paper in the “office.” Final deadline for submissions is January 11, 2009.

 

Final Exams, Report Cards & Coupon Day: First semester will be ending. Finals in most classes will be on January 18. Report cards will be distributed on Coupon Day – January 25.

 

ANJCS Activities:

The Association of New Jersey Chinese Schools will hold the following contests:

February 22, 2009 - Calligraphy Contest: at Bergen Chinese School.

March 7, 2009 - Karaoke Contest: at Mid-Jersey Chinese School.

Soul of ShaoLin - in celebration of the Lunar New Year

Direct from the 2008 Beijing Olympics comes to a theatrical event unparalleled on Broadway!  There will be 24 performances in January 2009.

Community Interest:

SAT Mock Test: Quakerbridge Learning Center(快捷教育中心) will hold an SAT Mock test(official test version of 2008 from the college board )and explanation  seminar on January 17and 23, 2009.  It’s an excellent test preparation encounter for your child whom has scheduled taking the January SAT exam. Two days events fee is $90.00.  Our school’s student can get discount price at $60.00. Discount Deadline is January 11.  Please contact Principal or Academic director for detailed information.
